Bible Bookmarks. What are they?

July 7th, 2009 by Pastor Karon

Dear Parents

Have you ever had a job to do and did not have the tools to do it with? Do you remember the frustration of “making it work” with a tool that was not made for the job?  OR did you have the right tool, but did not know how to use it? Well that is where Bible Book Marks come in.

Each week your child is given a Bible Book Mark with 4-8 verses to be read 5 days during the week. The Bible Book Mark will reflect what we focused on that week during Sunday Kidz Zone. When they mark each day as being read, and bring it back to me,  I reward them with BGMC Bucks they can use to buy treats in the BGMC Store at church.

Bible Book Marks are a tool YOU can give your child. A tool to defeat the enemy of their souls, hearts, and your home; PRICELESS!!

Please read them with your child. Mark off each day as you read them; discuss what God is saying to them and you as you read each day.  Demonstrating to your child how to use God’s Word in everyday life can bring both of you closer together, to the LORD, and to personal victory in your lives.

Read them, Mark them,  Bring them back to church in order for your child to be rewarded.

Blessings,

Pastor Karon

God Made the Heavens! Kidz Zone Lessons for July :)

July 7th, 2009 by Pastor Karon

During the month of July Kidz Zone  will be focusing on how the stars show us awesome things about GOD.  Parents, as you spend time with your child, please help them find different shapes and constellations in the night skies.

Can’t wait to hear from your child some reports of discussions you have had at home about the Stars teaching us things about God the Creator.

God bless you!
